Johanna Paterson

As a child Johanna spent many happy holidays in St. Ives, Cornwall where her grandmother lived and worked as an artist. This is where her love of art started. At the age of 15 Johanna sold her first painting to her English teacher, soon after she started taking commissions. She studied Illustration in Bournemouth which led to her first job illustrating for the National Trust.

In 1991 she moved to Richmond with her daughter, Helena, who was born on a very stormy night in February the previous year. Johanna then started fine art.
